Help Out Magic Futurebox While You Spring Clean
Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at 12:36PM We're producing a fantastic show in late June/early July (exact dates TBA), and we need your old clothes to make costumes! The show is Tommy Smith's Demon Dreams and we'll be donating part of the proceeds to the Japanese prefectures hardest hit by the recent earthquake and tsunami, Doctors Without Borders, and Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support.
To that end, we're asking for donations of fabric and old clothes (please make sure they are bedbug free!) to assemble our costumes so that we save on overhead for the production (and can increase our donations to Japan). While you're getting rid of your winter clothes you didn't wear and the summer ones you won't, please donate the ones the resale stores won't take to Magic Futurebox! Not only will you make room in your closet, help us help Japan, but we'll even thank you in the program and on our website.
